FREEDOM THAT LASTS® TEEN CURRICULUM
Adapted from the Student Manual for Adults, the units are divided into bite-sized checkpoints that allow each student to progress at his own pace. No matter the educational level or previous religious understanding of the student, he should be able to make some kind of progress each week.
Each student manual will take several months to a year to complete. Some students will go through a student manual two and three times before they are ready to go to the next manual.
USAGE BY INDIVIDUALS AND SMALL GROUPS
Any individual may purchase the curriculum components. They are best studied, however, with a mentor or a small group where someone else can provide accountability and can sign off the checkpoints which track the user’s progress through the program. Teen Level 1 Student Manual - Finding Freedom God’s Way is the core of the teen program. It is divided into eight units of study that correspond to the seven virtues the apostle Peter says to add to saving faith in 2 Peter 1. Peter’s virtues form the most complete portrait of Christlikeness in the Bible and give a clear picture of the kind of character needed to imitate Christ and to have freedom that lasts.
Teen Level 3 Student Manual - Maturing and Ministering God’s Way equips the student to serve God and others in his family, community, and local church.
Teen Level 2 Student Manual - Growing and Changing God’s Way continues the emphasis upon discipleship with six units of study on the sanctification process.
Spiritual Life Journal
This spiral-bound book is the companion to the Teen Student Manuals. Each student uses the journal to track what he is learning from God in His Word.
This journal will accommodate 90 days of journaling. For students not yet involved in the daily journaling process, of course, the journal will last longer.
